Obituary of David Sprague
David Bruce Sprague, of Elmview Avenue, Sussex, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on March 28, 2004 at the age of 64. Born in Sussex, NB on November 11, 1939, he was the son of Margaret V. (Peggy) (Buchanan) Sprague and the late Gordon L. Sprague. David is survived by his beloved his wife Margaret Ann (Davidson) Sprague, his children: Shelley Briggs and her husband Dana of Lower Millstream, Gregory and his wife Carmen of Barry, Ontario, Geoffrey at home, Patrick at home, his sister, Sharon Linden and her husband Bob of Sussex, 6 grandchildren Colton, Danielle, Callie Briggs, Andrew, Jesse, Ashley Sprague, as well as several nieces and nephews. David joined the Army at an early age, upon his return to Sussex he delivered milk for Sussex Cheese and Butter. Prior to his retirement he worked at Glendale Mobile Homes and Brunswick Lab as a cabinet maker. David loved all types of music especially the blues and country, he enjoyed playing the guitar and playing cards with his grandchildren. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At David's request there will be no visitation. The Funeral Service will be from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Kirk Hill Cemetery in the spring. There will be a time of fellowship with the family following the service. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Living Memorial.
