Marlene Evelyn Johnston, of New Line, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on March 15, 2004 at the age of 61. Born in Saint John, NB on March 29, 1942, she was the daughter of Freda (McEwen) Sherwood of Saint John and the late Lloyd Sherwood. Marlene is survived by her beloved husband Cyrus, 3 sons, Tony of Hammondvale, Tim of Calgary, Todd and his wife Christina of Berwick, 2 sisters, Carol Mosher and her husband Ray of Quispamsis, Betty French and her husband Ray of Kitchener, her brother, Wayne Sherwood and his wife Mary of Kingston, her grandson, Noah, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Marlene was predeceased by a brother Walter and by a sister, Shirley. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Tuesday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be from Sussex United Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at 2:00 pm. with Pastor Jeff Benson officiating. Interment will take place at the Hammondvale Cemetery.
