Obituary of Lawrence Fenton

Mr. Lawrence Bernard "Bernie" Fenton, of Carsonville, NB, passed away at his residence on March 10, 2004 at the age of 66. Born in Carsonville, NB on June 14, 1937, Bernie was the son of the late Leo C. and Regina Mary "Jean" (Doyle) Fenton. Bernie is survived by his beloved his wife Marion Isabel (Briggs) Fenton, 2 daughters Cathy Broome and Bill Hayes of Sussex Corner, Kelly Fenton and Stephen Keirstead of Wards Creek, 2 sons Bruce Fenton and Angie Steeves of Berwick, Danny Fenton and his wife Evelyn of Fundy Park Rd, his step daughter Tina Doyle and her husband Doug of Carsonville, his step son Mac Hoar and his wife Cindy of Rothesay, 11 grandchildren; Devon, Dylan, Jeff, Gina, Terri, Cheri, Paula, Ryan, Justin, Adam and Chelsea, 2 sisters, Evelyn Cummings and her husband Eugene of Norton, Shirley McKnight and her husband Charles of Berwick Road, 1 brother Paul Fenton of Moncton, as well as several nieces and nephews. Bernie was predeceased by his granddaughter Jinnie Levesque. Bernie was a retired detailer with Lamb Ford. He loved the outdoors, his vegetable garden, snowmobiling, four wheeling, playing auction 45's, cross country skiing, going for drives in the country and hunting. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Friday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Saturday, March 13, 2004 at 1:00 pm. The interment will follow in Carsonville Cemetery. There will be a time of fellowship with the family at the Berwick Hall following the committal service. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
