Obituary of Malcolm Lloyd

Mr. Malcolm Robert Lloyd, of 10 Mickelburg Road, Grove Hill (formerly Sussex), New Brunswick, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on January 18, 2004 at the age of 76. He was born in Bath, New Brunswick on January 25, 1927, the son of the late Elbert and Mary (Beattie) Lloyd. He was the beloved husband of the late Eva (Colwell) Lloyd who passed away in 1977 and by his second wife the late Betty (Gough) Lloyd who passed away in 1995. Malcolm is survived by his daughters, Debbie and her husband Ivan Paquette of Nanaimo, BC; Margaret and her husband Paul Hastings of Saint John; Pat and her husband Ron Stackhouse of Grove Hill; Kim and her husband Albert Jones of Saint John; Duska Lloyd of Saint John; Carol Lloyd of Saint John, his son, Robert and his wife Annette of Saint John, 2 step-daughters, Linda Gomke and her husband Herb of Saint John, Nancy Scully and her husband Kevin of Moncton and his step-son, Tom Davis and his wife Debbie of Sussex, his sister, Inez Wyman of Fredericton, 21Grandchildren, Michelle, Jeffrey, Dawn, Brad, Chris, Carrie, Angie, Andrew, Becky, Tania, Brian, Stephen, Megan, Michael, Scott, Corey, Neil, Kristen, Douglas, Jason and Tony, 10 Great Grandchildren, Brandon, Rebecca, Cody, Dawson, Brittany, Samantha, Eva, Jacob, Brittany and Jacob, as well as several nieces and nephews. Malcolm was a past member of the Orange Lodge and a former member of the United Baptist Church in Beechwood. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Monday 7-9, Tuesday 2-4, 7-9, at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John. The Funeral Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Canon Wally Corey officiating. Interment will take place at Worden Cemetery in the spring. Donations may be made to the memorial of the donors choice by contacting 433-1176.
