Mrs. Thelma M. Hilden, of Norton, passed away at her residence on December 2, 2003 at the age of 78 years. Born in Saint John, NB on May 26, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Roy Clarke and Susan (Coughlan) Clarke-Gallant and the beloved wife of the late Thaddeus Hilden who passed away in 1995. Thelma is survived by her daughter, Irene Johnston and her husband Ronald of Lower Millstream, her son, Thaddeus and his wife Helen of Norton, 4 Grandchildren, Ronald and Tracy Johnston, Andrew and Shelly Hilden, 3 great grandchildren, Laynsha, Hayden and Shantalle, as well as several nieces and nephews. Thelma was predeceased by her step-father Fred Gallant, and her granddaughter, Shawn- Marie. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Wednesday 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service is from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at 11:00 am with Pastor Harold Bubar officiating, with interment at Kirk Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
