Obituary of Jean Anderson
Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Anderson, of 9 Barbara Drive, Sussex Corner, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on November 25, 2003 at the age of 87. She was born in Cornhill NB on August 8, 1916, the daughter of the late R. Fred and Cora (Hunt) Pickett, and the beloved wife of the late James Nelson Anderson who passed away in 1996. Jean is survived by her daughter Phyllis Crowe and her husband Harold of Newtown, 2 sons Bob and his wife Gib of North Lake, Allison and wife Brenda of Sussex Corner, daughter-in-law Pat Anderson-King of Smith Creek 12 Grandchildren; Sharon, Stewart, Laura, Danny, Susan, David, Scott, Corinne, Ginny, Dennis, Mark, Jimmy, 11 great grandchildren; Terra, Cameron, Sydney, Rachel, Emily, Jay, Lily, Belle, Blake, Ashley, Derek, as well as several nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her son Doug and 2 brothers Everett and Murray. Jean loved to knit, sew and Quilt she was know for her beautiful baking and cooking she was a member of the Smith Creek United Church where she was a member of the Smith Creek Fidelity group and a former Sunday School Teacher, she was a former member of the Smith Creek Seniors and of the Millstream Valley LOBA # 1389. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Thursday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service is from Smith Creek United Church on Friday, November 28, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gene Fisher and Rev. Merrill Slipp officiating. A Private Family Interment will take place at Gosline Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Smith Creek United Church, Sussex Health Centre Kidney Dialysis Machine or to a memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
