Miss Della Elizabeth Mercer of Hartford, Connecticut and formerly of Ratters Corner passed away on October 4, 2003 at the age of 95. Born in New Brunswick on May 14, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Maude E. (Mitchell) Mercer. Della is survived; 2 brothers, Hazen and his wife Snowie of Ratters Corner, Carl and his wife Margaret of Norton, 2 sisters, Ruby Atherton and her husband Bob of Greenwood, NS, Barbara Buchanan of Petitcodiac, as well as several nieces and nephews. Della was predeceased by 5 brothers, Eldon, Kenneth, John, Fred and Joseph. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) The Funeral Service will be from Southfield United Church Cemetery on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 1:00 pm.
