Lawrence Douglas Adair, fondly known as 'Larney' (Bugsy), of Millbrook, passed away on June 8, 2003, at the age of 47. Larney was the only child of Douglas and Betty Adair of Millbrook, Loving husband of Susan (Powell), father of Jared and Bobby who were his life. He will also be greatly missed by; his mother-in-law, Flossie Powell, his Godmother, Freda McFarlane of Rockville, his Goddaughter, Kayla Folkins of Sussex, 2 sisters-in-law, Joan Folkins of Sussex and Kathy Royce and her husband Donnie of Bathurst, 2 brothers-in-law, Carl Powell and his wife Joan of Mt. Middleton and Ronnie Powell and his wife Debbie of Millbrook, special grandmother, Dot Anderson of Sussex, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Larney owned and operated L.D. Adair Ltd. and trucked for several companies throughout New Brunswick. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Wednesday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Thursday, June 12, 2003 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Allen Tapley officiating. A private family interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the IWK, Children's Wish Foundation or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
