Obituary of Earl Harvey
Mr. Earl Albert Harvey, of Sussex, passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on June 8, 2003 at the age of 79. He was born in Salmon Creek, NB on July 31, 1923, he was the son of the late Adam and Blanche (Williams) Harvey. Earl is survived by his wife of 56 years, Doreen Violet (Bevans), 5 daughters, Judith Connolly and her husband Mike of Maugerville, NB, Jessie McLaughlin and her husband David of Plumweseep, NB, Earlene Titus and her husband Wayne of Geary, NB, Patricia Thornhill and her husband Randy of Sussex, NB, Sherri Harvey of Sussex, NB, 10 grandchildren: Anita, Timothy (Heather), Matthew, Tiffany, Tempest, Thomas, Hannah, Brianna, Josiah, Isaiah, 1 great granddaughter, Tara, 2 sisters-in-laws, Mabel Harvey of Salmon Creek, NB and Dorothy Harvey of Sussex, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Earl was predeceased by his daughter, Anita, 3 brothers, Robert, Gordon and Eben, his half-brother, Frank and 2 half-sisters, Sadie & Mamie. Earl is the last surviving member of his immediate family. Earl was a member of Faith Bible Baptist Fellowship. He was a truck driver for Lounsbury Ltd. prior to his retirement. His passion for hunting and fishing in the great outdoors was his favorite past time with his family. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Monday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service is from Faith Bible Baptist Fellowship on Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at 3:30 pm, with Rev. Stephen Little officiating. A private family interment will take place at Riverbank Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the 5th Floor Oncology Department or to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
