Mrs. Winnifred Julia Mills, of 61 Queen St., Sussex, NB passed away at Sussex Health Centre on May 24, 2003 at the age of 89. Born in Kingston Peninsula NB on June 5, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Weeden H. and Hazel (Cosman) Scribner and the beloved wife of the late Ralph Sanderson Mills who passed away in 1980. Winnifred is survived by her daughter Margaret with whom she lives, 3 sisters Nan Boyles of Fairvale, Thelma Constantine of Saint John, Elizabeth Coleman and her husband George of Oromocto, as well as several nieces and nephews Winnifred was predeceased by 3 sisters; Beverley and Hazel in infancy and Bernice Chislom, and by 3 brothers; Samuel , Elmer and Harold Winnifred was a member of Trinity Anglican Church, and a former member of the Trinity Guild, and the Trinity Juniors. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Monday 2-4,7-9. Funeral Service is from Trinity Anglican Church on Tuesday, May 27th at 3:30 pm. Interment at Kirk Hill Cemetery.
