Mrs. Patricia Frances Guignard of Plumweseep, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on Saturday May 17, 2003 at the age of 74. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan on November 2, 1928, Pat was the daughter of the late Roy and Emma (Coomes) McSwain and the wife of the late Fernand J. Guignard who passed away August 15, 1999. Pat is survived by her son Jamie Akerley, her brother Beverly McSwain and his wife Lorraine of Moncton, her sister Myrna Phillips and her husband Dennis of River John, NS, 2 sisters-in-law Daisy McSwain of Rockland On and Vera McSwain of Halifax, as well as several nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by 3 brothers an infant Roy as well as Gerald and Roy. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, and (506-433-1176). At Pat's request there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier on Thursday May 22, 2003 at 10:00 am. Followed by a tribute at Evergreen Memorial Park by the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20..
