Mr. Randolph Martin Hetherington of Apohaqui and formerly of Codys passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on Friday September 7, 2012 at the age of 80. Randy was born in Cody's, NB on June 17, 1932 and was the son of Otty and Mabel (Sears) Hetherington. Randy and his brothers and sisters lived on a small farm in Cody's. Eventually, he made his way to Toronto where he worked as an engineer for CN Rail, however, in the seventies, Randy returned home to Cody's. In his later years, Randy went to live at Green Meadows Special Care Home where he became a part of their family. Wallace Funeral Home has been given the honour of carrying out Randy's final wishes. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service at this time.
