Obituary of Debbie Irvine
Debbie Martha Irvine, of New Line, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on March 21, 2003 in her 52 year. Born in Sussex, on October 20, 1950, Debbie was the daughter of the late Melbourne and Violet (McConnell) Ross. She is survived by her beloved husband Richard Malcolm Irvine, her son Shawn and his wife Elizabeth of Sussex, her daughter Kim Walsh and her husband Matthew of Apohaqui, her brother Harold Ross of Saint John, 2 sisters Sharon Grass of Saint John, Donna Ross and Mike Wisted of Saint John, 4 grandchildren; Shawn-Michael and Jacob Irvine, and Brittany and Benjamin Walsh, as well as several nieces and nephews. Debbie is predeceased by 2 brothers Ron and David. Debbie was very patient, caring and loving and always wanted to look after everyone. She was always there to help when the kids or the grandchildren were sick and was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Debbie was not one to complain. She was a very hard worker and enjoyed it. She liked to have everyone for dinner on Sundays and around the holidays. She enjoyed camping especially with her kids when they were small. She would take them picking wild berries and on one occasion it rained very hard after the rain stopped, the kids decided to make a mud slide, they were coved from head to toe in mud, Debbie didn't seem to mind. She was employed at Primrose Home and Green Meadows special care homes, where she was patient and kind to the residents, whom she cared for so much. Arrangements in care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Saturday 7-9, Sunday 2-4, 7-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier RC Church on Monday, March 24, 2003 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at Wards Creek Cemetery in the spring. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
