Obituary of Mary Pringle
Mary (Mollie) Wenonah (Freeze) Pringle, 92, Sussex, died February 7, 2003, in the Sussex Health Centre. Born in Sussex, she was the daughter of the late Judge J. Arthur Freeze and Melissa A. (Brown) Freeze. Surviving are son, John A. Pringle, St. Martins; granddaughter Shannon L. D. Pringle, Halifax; grandson, David J. G. Pringle, Ottawa. She was predeceased by her husband the Rev. Gordon C. Pringle in 1986. A graduate of Sussex High School (1927) and Dalhousie University (1932), Mollie helped her husband throughout 40 years of ministry to the United Church pastoral charges of Montague, PEI, Minto, NB, St. Martins, NB, Berwick, NS, Bridgetown, NS, Petitcodiac, NB, Bass River, NS, and Blackville, NB. Among her special interests were swimming instruction for youth, United Church Women, nutritional values, and the recitation of readings and poetry. Cremation has taken place with Wallace Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Memorial service will be held with date and time to be announced (probably in the spring or summer) as will interment in St. Martins Community Cemetery. Donations may be made to any church project or to a charity of choice.
