Leona Douthwright, of Picadilly passed away at Sussex Health Centre on November 7, 2002. Born in Parsboro, Nova Scotia on May 14, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Ella (Walton) Douthwright and the beloved wife of the late Benjamin Douthwright who passed away in 1947. Leona is survived by 2 Daughters, Bernice Wheaton of Sussex, Marilyn Flowers and her husband Wayne of Picadilly, 2 Sisters, Francis Douthwright of Elgin and Ruby Wilson of Elgin, several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Clifford and by a daughter, Betty, 2 Brothers, John and Leslie and by 2 sisters, Adeline and Irene Douthwright. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Friday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 9, 2002 at 10:30 am, with Pastor Gordon Walker officiating. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Churches Corner. Pallbearers will be Brad Philips, Brent Wheaton, Brian Wheaton, Jamie Chetley, Freddie Wheaton and Kirk Wheaton
