Mrs. Kathleen D. (Tod) Murray of Main Street, Sussex, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on Monday, September 9, 2002. Born in Sussex on May 19, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Carrie (Drummond) Miller and was the beloved wife of the late Harvey Murray who passed away in 1996. Kathleen (Tod) is survived by her sister in law Irene MacQueen of Trenton, NS, 2 nieces Mary (Pete) Hopgood of Wolfeville, Barbara Foster and her Husband Carl of Kiersteadville, 3 nephews Charles(Chuck) Sullivan, Bill Sullivan and his wife Ann both all of Saint John, and David Miller of Charleston, South Carolina, as well as by her caregiver Bonnie Mason of Penobsquis. Tod was predeceased by 2 brothers Andrew (Zan) who passed away in 1957, Bill who passed away in 1994 and by her sister Sue who passed away in 1982 Kathleen D. (Tod) Murray She was the last surviving member of her immediate family Tod graduated from Dalhousie University with her degree in Education and took a teaching position at the Edgehill School for Girls in Nova Scotia. She was a past board member of KirkHill Cemetery, and a member Trinty Anglican Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday 2-4,7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Thursday, September 12, 2002 at 11:30 am, with Rev. David Barrett officiating. Interment at Kirk Hill Cemetery.
