Obituary of Karen Bromley
Miss. Karen Ann Bromley, of Wards Creek, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on August 21, 2002. Born in Bath, on January 8, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Rose (McDonald) Bromley. Karen is survived by her brother Terry and his wife Janet of Glassville, NB, her half sister Bertha Copp of Ont. several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her foster mother and companion Audrey Dawson of Wards Creek, and her foster family, Susan Vail and her husband Edward of Saint John, Dawn Savoy and her husband Eddie of Miramichi, Sandra Payne and her husband Don of Red Head, Joanne Saunders and her husband Ross of Glenn Falls, Elizabeth Dawson of Mill Cove, Brian Lamb and his wife and Linda of Hampton, special nieces and nephews Dana, Eddie, Darlene, Joey, Kris, and Josh and Karen's Coffee Buddy Arthur Long and his wife Susan of Sussex. Karen was predeceased by her step-mother Mary (Thompson) Bromley. Karen was a beautiful person, she was loving and compassionate towards people and animals especially her cat Mittens who has been part of her life for the last 16 years. One of Karen's greatest pleasures was to go camping and be outdoors. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Friday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 24, 2002 at 10:00 am. The Graveside service will take place at Glassville United Church Cemetery, Glassville, NB at 1:30 p.m., Honourary Pallbearers are, Arthur Long, Brain Lamb, Dana Vail, Ed Vail Jr., Eddie Savoy, Peter Lavigne, Victor Lavigne Jr., Rod Kyle, Gerry Kyle, Dwayne Travis, Dino DePaqusi. As an expression of remembrance donations made to the Millcove Transportation Fund, St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church Building Fund or to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
