So sorry to hear of Floyd’s passing, when we were kids and teenagers Floyd always had a smile and always said hello. He had a rhyming poem when were kids and some dirty ditty as teenagers. He was one of the kindest person I knew, I’m sure Sussex will miss him

I'm so sorry to hear of Floyd's passing. There was never a day that we went to town that my kids didn't look for Floyd and his little dog. And when they spotted him they would say "There he is" We will all miss seening him around town and by Sharps as he always had a friendly hello. My daughter would stop and talk to him and ask him how his dog was! Floyd, Sussex and all of us are going to miss you, R.I.P. my friend. I know you will be looking after lots of little dogs in Heaven!

I am so saddened to hear of Floyd's passing. He was such a gentle,kind man who was always polite and had such a beautiful smile.I will look at the bench at Sharp's and always think of him and miss seeing him walking his dog.They say you can always tell what's in a person's heart by the way they treat animals and Floyd's heart was surely big and pure.He was a good man and I will miss seeing him about town.May he RIP.

Although I didn't know Floyd personally, I'll remember him for the way he would ask "What's your name?" When told, he always replied,"Oh yes, I'll remember that next time". Of course it was the same next time! Sussex has a few CHARACTERS known for such little habits or perhaps different attire or different walk.... that makes it such an interesting town. I do enjoy them all, these colorful people. Floyd with his dog-friend will be remembered and his cheery greeting will be missed by most of Sussex !
