Doug; I will always remember the phone calls we shared, whether it be me looking for advice on plumbing, carpentry, electrical, or whatever "do it yourself" project I was up to my ears into. The fact that neither of us could admit we were wrong and hadn't a clue made a few of these calls interesting to say the least. Bottom line being we always solved the dilemma at hand and although we knew whose advice or solution was wrong, it was never mentioned again. That my friend is called respect. Sorry I could not get to the funeral due to surgery and bedrest, but you and Shirley never left my mind that day, and continue to be in my thoughts. Rest in peace old friend, you will be missed.
