Greta Bernice Kovachik December 4, 1920 - May 5, 2013 In loving memory of our mother who passed away on Sunday, May 5th, 2013 at Belleisle Creek Manor. Greta was born and grew up in Saint John, New Brunswick but spent many years raising her family in Galt, Ontario. Later, she would enjoy her very happy retirement years back in New Brunswick, among the relatives and friends she loved so much. Greta was the dear wife of the late Stephen John. Loving mother of David (Wendy) and Stephen (Lucy), and sister to Mildred Graham. Greta is predeceased by her parents, Hedley and Ethel Cooper, her brother, Ralph, her sisters, Joanne, Myrna, Marion and her grandson, Tim. Cherished Grammie of Dave (Crystal) and Chad (Lou-Ann). Also survived by her four great grandchildren, Jade, Zoe, Gabriel and Max. She will be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends, new and old. Greta will be forever held dear in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her cheery disposition, her great meals and love of conversation will never be forgotten! The family would like to thank all the care givers who have helped Greta during the past year, including the Extra-Mural nurses and the wonderful staff at Belleisle Creek Manor as well as Margaret Corbett and Mary Bell with whom we would have been at a loss in caring for Greta. A memorial service celebrating Greta's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on May 25, 2013 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to a favourite charity in Greta's memory would be appreciated.
