Dear Bro. Leslie. Just read about Sis. Catherine's passing. We are filled with many wonderful memories as Catherine made all the bows and basket arrangements for our Wedding in 1971. We believe she was with Peacock's in the City Market at the time. She was certainly the "bow" Lady. Again during one of our big Christmas Programmes at Calvary Temple we made three large Christmas Bells that hung over the Pipe Organ and Catherine finished them off by making six huge red bows. Smashing to say the least. The years have taken us down many different roads and we have not had the Fellowship as we use to BUT memories are always there and so appreciated. Unfortunately we have a very important appointment this morning at 1100hrs or we would be with you for Catherine's Home Going Service. Catherine may not have birthed her own children, but she absolutely loved and cared for many of her friend's children. I was fortunate enough to have been one of them. I loved to visit Catherine and Leslie when they lived on Sandy Point Road. They had a dog and we didn't. My dad loved to eat candy and when he saw a dish of candy, he made himself right at home by taking a handfull. This would drive my mother crazy. One time Leslie put the dog's treats in a candy dish and....well you know the rest of the story... Catherine and Leslie had the biggest laugh over this for years to come. I will cherish my memories of Catherine in my heart forever.

Uncle Leslie,
Will always remember meeting you and Catherine at the airport in Ontario when Dad and Mom picked you up when we were kids to surprise Grammy and Grampy, our visits to New Brunswick, and riding motorbikes with Sheldon 'up country'. What fun we've had over the years reminiscing about those many visits and times. Aunt Catherine would often laugh when we remembered the time I wore a beloved pair of new shoes to the airport which were shined whenever dirty on my white sweater!
Aunt Catherine loved ladybugs, and I'll continue to think of her whenever I see one.
Will miss her greatly.

When ever I think of you and Catherine I always remember the visits in the summer at the old house and of course the time spent at Mrs. McConachies beach! what fun it was as a kid to see you chase Catherine around in the water and eventually dunk her in! Dear uncle Les, I'm sorry you lost aunt Catharine, I'm sorry I can't get down there to be with you now, I am happy to know that she is no longer suffering. Auntie passed on the same day and just about the same time as the 30 year anniversary of her brother in law George (my dad) I believe that he came to hold her hand and guide her to God and all who have gone on before her. She always had kind words of wisdom to share and always cared for her family she sang beautifully like the angel she now is.
