Dear Bobbie, Johnnie and your families. I just heard about your Mom's passing and want to let you know that my sympathy goes out to you. It is so heartbreaking when we have to say farewell to our parents no matter what age we are. Thank heavens for all the memories of our loved ones. A tear ran down my cheek today ... when I heard of the passing of my dear Aunt Beulah... We tried to locate her over the years but to no avail... Beulah visited our home many many times when we were kids and lived on Cornishtown Road in Sydney ... She always had that twinkle in her eye and laughed wildly. loved to play the piano..... My father Gerald Whelan was her brother... and her father William lived with us... She brought gifts for us kids especialy the girls who she showered with everything... I am saddened to learn of Mrs. MacEachern's passing. She was a favourite teacher at KLPS in the late-70's and when the family relocated to Sussex, NB in the early-eighties; I would see her and Jack when I was vacationing and visiting my parents, who had also relocated there- along with about 10-12 other Schefferville families. My condolences go out to Bob and John, as they grieve for their mother; as well as to their children. Rip Beulah MacEachern.
