It saddend me to hear of Glenna's passing. She and I worked together at the Sussex Health Centre. Her smile, laugh and WONDERFUL skill as a cook made my day and were greatly appeciated by the patients and customers. Glenna was an incredible lady; I got to meet her when I was working at the restaurant just last year. How quickly I came to love her laugh, her tremendous sense of humour, her quick wit, and her sassiness....I looked forward to Sunday's after Church when I knew Glenna would be in with her 'entourage', like clockwork, always sitting at the same back tables. In the short time I knew Glenna, she showed me so much about the compassion and kindness of human nature....she was a bright light in a sometimes negative world. This world is a little less bright now but Heaven has surely been lit up....my heart aches for her son and family, for Barb and family, Linda and family, and so many other family and friends, who Glenna has touched in her life. I truly wish I had known her longer....rest easy, dear Glenna....

So sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. I always knew when she was in the store all the guys would be laughing with her. Her laugh was so distinctive. We always enjoyed the treats she would bring in frequently, and we always marveled how Al could stay slim when his mom could cook such delicious dishes and sweets. I know such a wonderful caring lady such as her will be missed by all, but she is with our Lord, and will be watching from above.
