Your Mom was very special and always made me feel at home and part of the family. She was a wonderful person. I loved to hear her laugh and see her smile. She always had cookies for us and I will never forget the birthday cakes with the little charms hidden inside. I think Brian, Lynn and myself spent as much time at your house as we did at our own. Your Mom was always busy doing something and this is why I chose this picture.Love to all of your family. Carla

So sorry for your loss. I've worked with Ellen for several years and also lived in Doaktown so knew family members. It is difficult to have our love ones go from our lives but we know they are going to a wonderful place of peace. She will be reunited with family and friends and we can only wait to see them when our time comes. She had many to love her and Ellen you were fortunate to have been close to her and have fond memories that you we there for her in her last moments. You not only did that but on the same day she was called home she was given a great grandchild to carry on her name. Time will go on and you will always see things to keep her memory with you. Dear Sprague Family, Please accept my love and condolences on the passing away of Winnie . She was a beautiful lady and she will be truly missed at the Dr. Snow Centre . We spent a lot of pleasure time together ,a kind gentle lady with a lovely smile. I am sure you all have wonderful memories to cherish in your hearts forever . Gordon,Ellen, Dale & Faye: When I look up to pray I now see your Mom (Aunt Winnie) up there with your Dad (Uncle Don), Blair, her brother my Dad Leon Curtis, Grammie & Grandad Curtis, her sisters Phyllis, Louise & Nora. What a big loving family we have with so many cherished memories. Especially Cains River times, the stories of cains river are so fun and your Mom's face glowed like a candle and eyes sparkled like the stars when she talked about her childhood there. We decided we were distance relatives, both being descendants of John Curtis. My Dads mum was a Curtis. Then today I just realized that her sister had died the same day. That's a lot for one family.
