I have been a friend of Shawns since the 80,s we worked together on a few construction jobs,at the time he was a labourer ,working very hard,he and his friend Phil on a certain job in Hammond River was a very muddy job at the time. Shawn and Phil were up to there ears in mud, they just kept on smiling no matter what was coming their way,thats the way Shawn was;He was a great guy to work with,going to miss him

We have been so saddened by the loss of Shawn. We will miss him and his visits very much. He was a wonderful conversationalist,who had a great sense of humor(I will miss his laugh),and a very kind soul. Dave and shawn were close friends from way back,and I know he will miss him greatly. He is so fortunate to have so many wonderful memories. Though my memories are fewer,they are definately good ones. I know he will be missed by many. shawn has came to my house since he was a teenager , he was always very polite and quiet ,,as he grew up he became a great man visited me very freguentlyas he worked in different parts of the canadian provinces he always stopped each time as he came home to visit or he would stop by to show me another antique or treasure he found at a yard sale shawn and my son worked together building the trans canada highway here together and worked out west together shawn would stop in and grab the guitar and always had time to play me a song .,he was likee another son to me i loved him dearly and will surely miss his visits
