Shawn Allan King was born in Scarborough on September 23, 1964 and was the son of Judy (Hyatt) and the late Gary King. Shawn was a heavy equipment operator who had a passion for playing guitar, collecting stamps/comics and had an interest in finding treasures. His best friend was his father, Gary, and it was hard on him when Gary passed away in 2011. Shawn's greatest joy was his beloved Sassy. . Shawn will continue to live on in the hearts of his common-law spouse, Lori Bronnum and his constant companion Sassy; his mother Judy; his siblings: Shane and Charlene as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Shawn Allan of Sussex Corner, passed away on January 30, 2015 at the age of 50. He was predeceased by his father, Gary King in 2011. A service celebrating Shawn's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Thursday February 5, 2015 at 2 pm.
