Jane was a very humble and caring lady. She helped all of our kids, and I'm sure many others, learn to swim at Ralph's swimming hole. Whether it be the excitement of the kids when she arrived at the river with popsicles for everyone, treating injuries, drives or her calmness at work, Jane's kind and sincere spirit will live on in the memories of those who knew her. When I think of Jane, I remember those times I played hockey with Billy every second year and how avid a hockey fan Jane was. She always seemed to be at our games - home and away. Jane and Carol must have shared a blanket because they sat side by side.

Bob/Sisters, Sondie, Harold, Kevin, Paul: Jane was extraordinary...kind, generous, devoted, motherly. I actually don't remember not knowing her....being a Village boy. You may remember the night she set about to remove a splinter from under my nail. I was about 7 and would not sit still. She made it clear that it was her or a trip to the hospital where Dr Bryant would cut the thumb off me. I didn't move an inch! She knew how to get things done! One of a kind...she'll be missed.
