To Flo's Girls
I think of your Mom and Dad and how much they were a part of my life when my Dad died in 1964. My Mom sent me, then 14 years of age, down east for the summer after my Dad passed. That summer I helped Ron and Flo manage the girls. My uncle Ron and Aunt Flo took me in and made me feel right at home. I returned a few years later, after Ron passed, married to my husband Jack. We were shown Sussex and area by Flo and John and again made to feel very welcome.
Again a few years passed and we returned down east and visited Flo in her home. She showed us a wonderful time and took us to her final resting place. She was proud of her final marker all filled out with the exception of the date
Thank you Flo for the kind character you were. My sympathy goes out to the girls.

Hi cousins,
Please accept my condolences and sympathy on your Mom's passing. I know it's complicated. I remember her in a most positive light and I think that says something.
The something it says is confirmed as I scroll through the pictures you arranged: she is smiling with a bright light in her eye in most of these. That is amazing. And, as I said, I know it's complicated but I think it appears she lived a life well; certainly as all humans, with frailties and flaws and faults galore; but that she was present in your lives, and in her own, speaks well of her, by my estimation.
Celebrate her life and pick and choose your best memories to stand in her stead for the rest of yours.
