To this day I still recall how Jan and Max would make you feel welcome in their home and how I had a great experience staying with them back in the summer/ fall of 1993 while I worked as a summer/co-op student at the potash mine. Jan was so kind and treated me like I was one of the family. I'm sorry for your loss, and encouraged to know that she is living free of affliction in heaven today! Mark Waugh.

I am very sorry to hear of Jan's death and will really miss her. I thought of her as family, and my Uncle Howard loved her like a daughter. She was a beautiful soul and set a wonderful example for all of us. I was fortunate to enjoy her hospitality on many occasions.
