The Plan of the Master Weaver (author unknown)
Our lives are but fine weavings that God and we prepare -
Each life becomes a fabric planned and fashioned in His care.
We may not always see just how the weavings intertwine,
But we must trust the Master's hand and follow His design,
For He can view the pattern upon the upper side,
While we must look from underneath and trust in Him to guide...
Sometimes a strand of sorrow is added to His plan,
And though it's difficult for us, we still must understand
That it's He who fills the shuttle, it's He who knows what's best,
So we must weave in patience and leave to Him the rest ...
Not till the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly
Shall God unroll the canvas and explain the reason why
The dark threads are as needed in the Weaver's skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned.
Don, Janet, Brad, you and the rest of Lindsay's family as well as her friends are in our thoughts and prayers at this time of loss. May our Lord give you strength, comfort, peace and hope.
With much sympathy and love,
Dave and Gail Steeves

Hi Don and Janet, my deepest condolences to you both and your families. I not sure if I ever met Lindsay. She was a beautiful young lady and had your good looks, Janet. Sounds as though she had a full and adventurous life. I saw that Lindsay Saunders posted a condolence. Lindsay was Carl's (my late husband)niece. I spoke with Lindsay last year and she was telling me about going to that College that your Lindsay attended. My Sarah was born just four months after Lindsay and Delores' Craig was born a month (I think) before Lindsay. Again my deepest condolences.

We are saddened to hear of your loss, while knowing that the Lord will be comforting and bearing you up in these days. When our Susan called me with the news, I remembered the great April Fool's Day gag Lindsay victimized her Dad with, when away in college, about expensive troubles with the car. We are praying for the Lord to help you all through this sad and difficult time. I was just remembering being on stage during an Easter production and it was a serious moment and I was trying to look very stoic but it was hard because I was getting hit in the back of my head with a squirt of water from a gun Lindsay had snuck on stage, it's hard to keep a straight face when all you want to do is laugh . Lindsay made a lot of people smile ,pretty well everyone she met, she will be missed and remembered fondly. God bless, we are praying for you to find that peace that only our Lord can give.

Dear Don and Janet,
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Lindsay. We can only imagine the loss you must be feeling at this time and the strain you've felt over the last months as you supported Lindsay in her struggle with her disease. Don, even though we've been lifelong friends, the many years we spent separated by so many miles meant that I never really knew Lindsay. However reading her amazing obituary made me realize she was a person of great strength, character and conviction who lived her life so well. I am sure she was an inspiration to many of her friends as well as her young students. You have clearly poured out an incredible amount of love, care and compassion for Lindsay, and now I pray that you will feel the same care and understanding from your friends and family. Our prayers and our friendship are with you in this most difficult hour. I wish we could be there at this time rather than thousand's of miles away. Please be assured we are praying for God's love and comfort for you at this time.
God Bless,

I want to express my sincerest sympathies on the passing of Lindsay. I remember her being so full of life and light, especially during the productions and choir events at Kings Valley. She would be always trying to pump up energy and encourage others. Her sense of humour and laugh were infectious and we can't forget her beautiful singing voice. She was truly a wonderful person. My heart grieves with you as you face days without her in your life, but praise God that this isn't the end. She is now walking on streets of gold, with her Saviour and steadfast you will see each other again. Please know that my girls and I will continue to pray for your family through this difficult time.

My heartfelt condolences to you, Janet and Don and your families. I did not know Lindsay, but felt I did because of many things mentioned by you and Aunt Myrtle. She was family and she will be missed by all who knew her. Remember where there are shadows, there also must be light.

Don, Janet, Brad and family,
Tom and I send our love and support across the miles and only wish we could be home to share in Lindsay's service. I (Barb) have enjoyed a sweet friendship with Lindsay ever since she was a PK at Kings Valley Wesleyan Church. I will ever remember her infectious laugh, her resilience, her passion for life, her sense of adventure, her transparency...and so much more. The last time Lindsay visited me at Beulah she wanted to try on my wigs which I wore after losing my own hair through chemo. We laughed and laughed as she decided that they looked better on me! I will cherish every memory of your sweet daughter and sister as I know you will as well.
I am reminded of the scripture that tells us there is a time to laugh and a time to weep and of the song that says Joy Comes in The Morning. Weeping only lasts for a time.
Please know that your sweet daughter was loved...and she knew that her family loved her unconditionally.
You will be in our prayers...

Dear Don, Jan and all Family. Words seem to come short at a time like this. The Valley you have had to walk through has been a difficult one. Your Daughter Lindsay was a beautiful young Lady with a vibrant and infectious smile. A lot of her Dad and Mum in her. Take comfort in knowing that Lindsay is out of pain and now at total peace with her Lord. Easy for us to say as we have never had to walk your road. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with each of you in the coming days and the days following Lindsay's Home Going Service. Blessings.
In His Grip.

Gail and I extend our heartfelt sympathy to the Ingersoll family. Lindsay was a great girl with lots of energy and desire to experience life. I (Ken) remember a chat with her on the Beulah Wharf when she was contemplating her career choices and we talked about the wonder of living in the North! To Don & Janet and Families;
We often try to find words, to convey the shock, sadness and dismay, of when we hear of someone we know that has passed away...
But sometimes, the shock overwhelms, and the heartache prevails...
We do know, in our minds and souls, of the promise of our Lord that we will all see each other again, but to overcome the initial loss, the grief, that is where we mere mortals then trust in The Lord to bring us truly, a "Peace that passes all understanding"...
His Love, Comfort and Strength are always ever-present, but we do pray now, that it will all be even more, to surround you close, and keep you in His arms.
Love, Prayers and Hugs Always,
Bill & Marcia Barkus

My heart is broken for you. I and my family will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers in days
to come. My husband and I dearly loved the Wesleyan Church Families in N. B. who were so wonderful to
us. Among the names at the top were the Ingersolls and the MacKenzies. I am told your daughter was
an amazing young lady....and dearly loved by family and friends. May the God of all comfort surround
each member of your family. Lindsay has entered her forever home and heard "well done".....I have lost
so many to that glorious place in the past two years. I think I already know that heaven is sweet...and
we will be complete again in every way. Remember that One of HIS names is Jehovah-Shamma...."the God who is
there"> I and my family send love to Don & Janet...all of your family and friends. Dawn. M. Crabtree.
