Fondly remembering the times we have spent together; the many visits to your family home, with you and your parents, (especially the annual Christmas Eve ones) and in your home with you and Marie. Thank You for guiding me through old family pictures and putting names to faces. Most of the time you were behind the camera but I did find 2 pictures… one of your wedding, Oct. 1976 and a candid one after our wedding in July, 1979.(posted)
We will miss your warm and friendly greeting every time we visited but thankful that you are at peace and with Marie and the rest of the family.

I was sorry to hear recently of Iain's passing. He lived a good long life. I was not aware either that he had lost Marie last year.
I was in a car pool with Iain traveling to Brunswick Mining for quite a number of years. Although we were quite different types, he in accounting, & me in engineering; he a staunch Baptist & me pretty much a heathen, I recall many interesting conversations we had over that 25 miles twice every day, on a variety of subjects.
Iain was a good & humble man, & despite our often different opinions, we got along well & I always had a liking & great respect for him. The world is lesser for his passing. My condolences to remaining family members.

Iain you were a good friend, Looking back over the years at the times we had when we were both living in Miramichi, staying at the same home and the trips we had in the winter time, driving from Campbellton to Miramichi in the winter time, you were always the one out in the front driving, you always said that you would clear the way for me. There were times when I could not see you in front because of the snow drifts. We even talked about that in these past few weeks, and about the Blue Pontiac sedan that you had back then. Eleanor said that you always had a smile ,and she remembers the times you all had at your Mom's and Dads house back in the old days. Going to miss you Iain, rest in peace,now that you are in a better place with Marie, and your family. See you later. Herb & Eleanor Mann

Ian and Marie were our neighbours, And friends I have never seen a more loving couple. Always willing to share a smile and a story with myself or my girls..Jenna and Julia loved spending time with them and I know Ian mentioned how much they enjoyed hearing the girls laughter..I will miss Ians smile and listening to his story's..rest in peace Ian..your with the love of your life Marie now..
