Jimmy & Family,I am so sorry to hear of your Grandmothers passing. She was a fantastic lady and touched the hearts of many people. I often say that she was the one who started me and many others on our journey of knowledge as she was my grade 1 teacher. She made an impression on me at an early age and I will always remember her kindness. Thinking of you all.Michelle (Northrup) DesRoches

Dear Jim, Dee and family, We were so sorry and saddened to learn of Ruby's passing. In reading the messages that have been left in Ruby's guest book and things we've heard about her from individuals, all I can say is that I wish we had had the opportunity to get to know Ruby personally! What a wonderful legacy to leave...lives and communities touched and changed by her caring, generosity and the good she has helped to accomplish. Ruby's life was a blessing not only to your family but to many! Truly impressive! I know that you have suffered a great loss but, may the high esteem in which she is held somehow help ease your sense of loss and sadness. Ruby will live on not only in your hearts but, also in the hearts of the many who knew her and were impacted by her caring and generosity! What a wonderful and beautiful testimony of a life unselfishily and wonderfully lived! Please accept our heart felt sympathies and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you now and the weeks to come! Marilyn & Nelson (Day)

To the Family of Mrs. Hope! It is with sadness that I view this obituary today but the sadness is overwhelmed with tremendous thanks and gratitude for Mrs. Hope for being my first school teacher (Apohaqui Elementary School Grade 1 & 2 1973/74 & 74/75) who helped me begin my journey of life-long learning and formed the foundation upon which my many years of education was built. She taught me reading, printing, counting, the alphabet and math ... all that I have been able to accomplish from Elementary School to High School, through college and university, in theology school and all that I have yet to learn began with her in a little school, with fellow classmates and a teacher who was committed to teaching. Today I give my extravagance thanks to God for the gifts and talents of Mrs. Hope and share with you in this time of greiving and loss. Blessings of Peace to you!
