Anne and I would stop at Sharp's on the way home from school. Bev would appear out from the back room, take us by hand and out the door we would go. Heading across the street and over the tracks we would go, heading to Stedman's. We would sit in one of the booths and order milkshakes. Following that, Bev would head back to work and Anne and I would head home. Everyone should have a memory like this!
