Hi to the Roger Brideau family, I lived with Roger's father Norman for a few years at Sandy Point Road in Saint John when he was crippled with rheumatoid arthritis and was Norman's across-the-street neighbor for many years before that, so I came to know his son Roger and Roger's sisters. Roger and I once went hunting rabbits together. He liked to tease and he liked to laugh. I bought Norman his first wheelchair. When I was a teenager, Norman taught me a lot of skills as I repaired his home; such as laying floor tiles, wallpapering, repairing broken copper water pipes and taps; shingling, and building a wooden porch, and cooking. Norman suffered greatly from the pain of arthritis. It would be nice to hear from one of his relatives. Terry Spragg (spragg@hotmail.ca).

To Roger's Family, Spent many hours with Roger fixing lawnmowers or trading them or talking about hunting up in the Narrows. In the beginning we got our water from Roger at a spring on his property to use at the old "Suits us" up the hill. Roger was always full of stories and we had many laughs. He will be greatly missed, an icon of the Narrows,not soon forgotten. Cherish the memories.Todd&Jocelyn
