Mike, Jackie, Stephen & Families & The Ross Families
Teenagers, laughing, sharing, planning new adventure on the front steps of the house on St. George Street. It was collective. So many good memories.
I am appreciative that we maintained contact through the years, sharing our lives, spontaneous phone calls/visits and reminiscence of our Families.

So so sorry and shocked to hear of Jeans Passing which I found out this evening. A special heartfelt condolence to my high school friend Sheila whom I got to know all her family from. Also to a long time friend Mike for the loss of his special partner and love. God Blessed you with these special years with such a sweet lady and she was. Very sorry to hear of Jeans passing .
I had the privilege of knowing her as a coworker @ KNH .
Jean was always pleasant & caring and so respectful of the residents ...they loved her . She was well liked by staff and families .
I remember trips to Elgin in the van with residents & Jean , the smell of goodies baking in the oven in the Activity Room , pickles and Christmas fruitcakes ...these memories & more bring a smile to my soul ...may all those who loved Jean have many , many good memories to help you through your tears of loss .

To Jean's Family and Friends,
It is with sincere sadness that we learned of Jean's passing. We were not aware that she had been ill
.
Jean was known to us through her family; but she was also known to us when she worked at the Kiwanis Nursing Home and especially when our Mother, Clara Liddle, was a resident there.
There are no words adequately to describe Jean's compassion and devotion to the residents. She was always cheerful, energetic, and encouraging to all. She was truly missed when she retired; and now she will be truly missed by all who knew her.

I am so sorry to see that your mom has passed away. I didn't know that she wasn't well. My mom, Rose Pearson, couldn't have known either. She always keeps me informed about people from Highfield!
As the tribute says, she truly was a very special lady. I remember many times going down to the farm when you two were little as I just loved to go there because she always made you feel special.
