Mark and I were very saddened to hear of Havie's passing. We regret not getting in to visit him but we both have been ill and didn't want to take the chance of passing anything along.

We will certainly miss him a every meeting just as we have been missing him since his absence. He was the one person that always has a smile for me when we met and his dedication will always be remembered.

Of the many good people I have met through sport in my lifetime Havelock Dunfield ranks among the very best. "Havie" was a great friend and a wonderful athlete who was dedicated to his family and always a great teammate. I still marvel at his hitting skill well into his fifties and his ability to win friends and help anyone who needed help. Rest in Peace, Havie! You have fought the good fight and proven yourself more than worthy!
