Obituary of Avery Adelbert Stewart
Mr. Avery Adelbert Stewart was born in Whitneyville on March 24, 1931, he was the son of the late Wilbert and Muriel Stewart.
Avery graduated from University of New Brunswick in 1955 with a Bachelor of Administration. He was an avid golfer, curler and New York Yankee fan and coached softball and baseball in Sussex for many years. He was also past president of the Sussex Lions Club and the Sussex Golf and Curling Club.
He will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife, Eleanor; his daughter, Cheryl Stewart of Dartmouth, NS; his sons; Brian and his wife Carol of Sussex Corner, David and his wife Kathy of Sussex, and Ron and his wife Liz of Halifax, NS; his grandchildren; Josh and his wife Jenna of Moncton, Julie and her husband Travis DeWolf of Toronto, Charlee and her husband Jeff Parfit of Windsor, Braelyn of Calgary, Mitchell of Halifax and Alexandra of Halifax and by his great grandchildren: Rhea, Aubrey, Jackson, Carter and Ada.s.
Mr. Avery Adelbert Stewart of. Sussex, passed away at his residence on March 25, 2017 at the age of 86.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Monday from 4-6pm. At Avery's request no funeral service will be held. The interment will take place in the spring.
