Nancy, Our deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. Although we only knew Gertrude for a short time she made such a wonderful impression on my parents, me and my children. She was a remarkable women with a shine in her eye and a smile on her face. We were so thankful to have had the opportunity to get to know her and she will truly be missed by her family and friends. My sincere thoughts go out to all the family of this beautiful lady. We were friends from high school and through the years. We drifted apart for years, but met again in recents years ,visits were few and far between, but managed to get together and go over old times. She will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to Gertrude's children, her siblings, and extended family. I went through high school with her and we graduated together from CRHS. When she went to Saint John to work, we hung out together. I remember how happy she was when she and Ivan married and had a family. She loved being a Mom. I have not seen her in later years, but remember her being a lovely and kind person. I am so sorry that all of you have lost this wonderful lady, and pray that God will give you comfort, strength, and peace during these very difficult days, and in the days ahead.. Very, very sad to hear of Gertrude's passing. She was the sweetest lady and I loved hearing her laugh. Myself and my children have always called her Aunt Gertrude because she was always considered part of our extended family. She will be so missed. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. It with great sadness to hear about your mom passing. I remember that days sitting in your guys kitchen at the trailer eating her cinnamon bread. Which to this day is still the best I have had. Karen, Norine, Keith and the Molasky family, Please accept our condolences in the passing of Gertrude. From the moment that I met her I realized why Kevin considered her a special aunt, that she was a force to be reckoned with and that she had a great love of shopping. She was a friend who held family in great regard, one whose smile was so amazing and a great person to share some juicy gossip. Her visits to our home will certainly be missed. A lady in the true sense, she was always impeccably dressed with matching earrings and handbags. Please allow memories to carry you in the coming days and treasure them to help in healing your broken hearts. I am certain that a special meeting has taken place with Irene; lots for them to catch up on, tea to drink and beautiful birds to welcome her.
