Obituary of Rev. David Wesley LeRoy
Reverend David Wesley LeRoy, of Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, September 6th, 2017, at the age of 64 years.
Born in Ottawa, he was the son of the late Rev. Russell L. and Florence (McCorriston) LeRoy. David was lovingly released to the presence of Christ and will be forever cherished by his beloved wife, Joanne (Ingersoll); their three sons: Jonathan (Kim), Andrew (Renée), and James (Jennie); his 6 grandchildren: Ruby, Owen, Ivan, Wesley, Myla, and George; his two brothers: Eldon (Joyce) and Duane (Shirley); his two sisters: Melva Ridgway and Verda Pinch; his mother-in-law, Kathleen Ingersoll; his brothers-in-law: Don (Janet) Ingersoll and Doug (Karen) Ingersoll; as well as, several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB, (506) 433-1176. Visitation will be held at the Saunders Irving Chapel, Kingswood University, Sussex, NB, on Friday, September 8th from 6:00-9:00 pm and 11:00 am-12:30 pm on Saturday, September 9th, 2017.
A service celebrating Rev. LeRoy’s life will be held at the Saunders Irving Chapel, Kingswood University, on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 2:00pm, with Rev. Don Ingersoll officiating. Reception to follow.
The committal service will be at the Brown’s Flat Baptist Cemetery, Sunday, September 10th at 3:30 pm.
