Dear Lynn & Kelly,
Our hearts are heavy in Halifax wishing we could be by your side. Gay was more than a friend she was apart of our family. She lived with us and became very special we always looked forward to her coming to visit even our cats. When she came for a visit in 2017 I could see a difference in her and I encouraged her to get those stockings she promised me she would Mom was talking to her 2 weeks later said she had hard time getting them on. I wished I lived closer so I could of helped her. Gay was fun and her laugh was contagious. We will always hold a spot in our hearts for her. If Gay was held back because of her health she would want to leave this earth we know that so we know she's at peace. Gay was independent and love to go but her health wouldn't let her. Go rest high on that mountain Gay we love and will miss you more than you know. We will think of her every time we see a bird( because she was afraid of them), eating chocolate bars, chips and dry roasted peanuts, playing cards, running the water tap for long periods of time lol, scratching tickets, eating strawberry shortcake, chinese food, Steak & Stein, mall shopping, the beach, drives and our trip to PEI their are so many memories that we will cherish God can't take those away.
We loved and will truly miss her as much as you Lynn & Kelly

Gaye had a wonderful sense of humour and could be relied on to see the light side of a situation as well as the serious side, always taking her job seriously. I worked with Gaye from 1989 to 1991 and so enjoyed knowing her. Condolences go to her family members.

I worked with Gay during her time at MT&T. She was a unique individual who always spoke her mind. Her opinions and comments were always a mix of honesty and humour. She could multitask at work like no one else and she was the life of the party in social gatherings. One of the most memorable people that I have been blessed to call a friend. RIP Gay!!
