How sad we were to receive the phone call from Alvin yesterday letting us know of Laura's passing! Laura, and you Don, were among only a handful of temple workers who had prior experience before we all began serving in the Halifax Temple almost 19 years ago. We have so many wonderful memories of Laura-- her great service, her sense of humour, her amazing cooking, her love of church hymns--the list could go on and on. Her obituary was printed off and sitting on the desk in the temple office this morning, where we read it--one of the most beautiful obituaries we have seen. Such a nice tribute to her! Please know of our love and deepest sympathy. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I have so many wonderful memories of Sister Bursey in the Dartmouth Ward. Her wonderful sense of humour and common sense drew many of us to her as well as her caring and compassion for others. Dear Joan, Preston and Family.
Just a note to say "thinking of you" at this sad time. However, I too believe she has now gone to a better place; and, as you put it, "Families are Forever".
I know she will be missed, but it is bittersweet knowing that she is now at peace where there is no more suffering or pain, where she has joined loved ones already passed and making a place for those yet to come.
