The Ness Family,
Please accept my most sincere condolences and those of my father,Have Chiasson, during this time of great loss.My memories of Mrs.Ness, as she always was to me,are many!My family were neighbours, our parents were friends,my mother belonged to ucw,and I remember many nights going to bed and listening to the laughter!I have fond memories of playing In The little play house behind her home. Beth and I and our other friends,Brenda, Anne, and Narda, had great fun there. I especially loved playing school. There was always warmth and laughter at Mrs.Ness'.
I believe with Mrs.Ness' passing that there now longer remain any original families from the 50's on Lower Main St.
Please know that we your neighbours of long ago, are with you all as you move through this time of great loss.
Carolyn, and Dad(Have Chiasson)

My last memory of Mrs. Ness was at my mother's wake in May of this past year. She greeted me as usual with a big hug and a smile.
My mother told me that Mrs. Ness, as the next door neighbour of my grandmother (and where my parents lived as well at that time) taught her how to change my diapers as a newborn.
My deepest condolences to the family, especially Heather, who I graduated with in '72.

My heartfelt condolences and love to the family of this wonderful lady. I was blessed to call her my Aunt. When I was told of her passing, it was like the world was a little dimmer, but then I immediately remembered her laugh. What a light she was to those around her-- and the warmth of her constant smile and unforgettable laughter. Rest in peace Aunt Eleanor xx
