Mrs. Eleanor Gertrude Ness of Sussex passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love and her family on September 16, 2018 at the age of 91. She was the daughter of the late Heber and Gertrude (Humphrey) Bell and wife of the late Robert Ness whom she spent 66 wonderful years with.

She enriched the lives of many others with her listening skills, engaging personality and strong sense of community. She had a very strong faith and was a member of St. Paul's United Church and life time member of the UCW. She enjoyed journeying through life with the "Club Girls".  Eleanor's incredible commitment to family has been an example to all those who knew her. Her ability to give of herself to those that she loved is a gift that we all treasure.
