So sad to hear of Paul's passing. He always had a smile when we saw him in town, and he would tell us with great pride about his children. We always asked after Frances, in particular, who was Jacob's friend and who went with us on a memorable trip to St. Andrews. Our hearts go out to all the family.

Anne and Paul's family!
I just discovered the shocking news last night on the internet and was not able to compose myself to write this until today.I guess Anne that you know how well Jackie and I knew him and what he meant to me.I will always treasure the great memories of our youth. He was not only the definition of a gentleman but had a unique sense of humor. On one of our camping trips to Fundy he was walking along a cliff some distance from us and suddenly fell.We thought he was gone but he suddenly stood up drink in hand and assured us that he never spilled a drop.He was the cleanest person ever and the only camper among us that folded up his clothes neatly at night. He and Randy Bell rooming together at UNB must have been like the Odd Couple movie.Paul,Randy and I had lunch together last November. I presented Paul with photo of us taken at that lunch earlier this spring(the last time I ever saw him).I will never forget him!
Our most sincere condolences !
Jim and Jackie Stephenson.

It is with shock I loose a classmate of the 67 class. Paul was my seated close to me in grade 11 in Mr Armstrong's class in the proximity of Ann Templeton and Rick Reynold's. Calmly without judgement he was always helpful, especially if Hokie lost his temper. Paul always strolled, often to the SMT after school. My mother became his mother's neighbour and then Paul's, she always kept an eye out for him. She worried about him in the last months. So sad he has gone.

To Frances, Eliza, and Daniel,
I am your mother’s cousin and I met you all at Uncle Dan’s memorial service. I am so sorry to hear about you father’s death. I knew Paul in high school and have some great memories of those days. I really enjoyed talking to him in June especially when he talked with pride about each of you and your lives. A life cut way to short. He will be missed by us all.

I was one of a small band of postal workers that worked at Sussex Post Office with Paul Wright for many years and I think we all enjoyed our time there. We shared our family stories and Paul was so proud of his family. He never rushed though and when Mary called to say it was time to head to the hospital to meet a new addition Paul strolled out the door. Guess he had it all under control. He also never complained about his health problems and took that in stride also. Our heartfelt condolences go to the family. He suffered in silence but we enjoyed his great sense of humour and know you will remember the good times.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Paul. I learned so much about him in the beautiful obituary. I just knew him as Anne's brother and Frances, Eliza and Daniel's father and through the post office. We had numerous conversations when we met after all that and he was always so pleasant and friendly. God bless his soul and may he rest in peace. May you find comfort in your memories.
