McNair family,
We were so saddened to hear of Bro McNair’s passing, yet, we rejoice in the knowledge that he will be forever in the presence of his Lord and Saviour. Larry was in to the hospital to visit with him just a few days before he passed away and had a great time of fellowship with him.
Some of our fondest memories of Bro McNair are when he would lead song service. He was so exuberant in his worship that it brought joy to our soul just watching him.
Bro Harvey McNair was a true Christian with a love for souls and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. You folks have been in our prayers the last number of days and will be in the days ahead.
What a great man of God. What a great legacy he has left behind. A man of prayer, the word, a great song leader. In my mind I can still see him leading in worship many years ago at a fellowship in West Saint John.
He was our presbyter while we pastored in Harvey Station in the mid 80's. A man of great integrity and christian character.
God bless.

My Sympathies & Prayers are with you all in the loss of your dear loved one, Harvey. Besides my name being borrowed from his two sister's, Luella & Ruthie, I have fond childhood memories of our McNair cousins visits with Grampy & Grammie,(Walter/Tressa Long) & my Dad & Mom, (Esther & Eslie). Even through hard times, Harvey's Joy from the Lord was evident. In later years, at his home, or a family event or his many long walks about town, chats with him were such a Blessing. May Precious Memories ease your Sorrow.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. He was a kind, Godly, man. I remember well his song leading at Harvey Camp and could he sing in that rich deep voice. In particular, How Great Thou Art, and how he would hold that last line.
His memory was sharp as he explained a lot of the pictures and memorabilia, remembering names and faces from bygone years at the NCC library.
Our loss is heaven’s gain. He will be missed.

Bro. McNair was held in the very highest esteem by our family. Dad always had a special place in his heart for this godly man. Our loss is heaven's gain as he is now with his sweetheart where they are singing in the heavenly choir. I like to think he is singing better than ever with all the other "celebrities" who have gone home to their eternal ward. Some people just stand out and he just happened to be one of them. Bro. Harvey McNair was one of the greatest men we've ever known! What an incredible storehouse of Christian history! Certainly a one-of-a-kind man of God; a preacher with depth, a man of prayer, and unwavering consecration. Words cannot adequately convey the high regard and respect we hold for him both now, and in the future with such a legacy as he has left. Our love, prayers and gratitude rise before the throne of God for the entire, wonderful McNair family, who were the first to welcome us with open arms to Nova Scotia. May the Lord Jesus bless and comfort. Bro. and Sis. Luke
