Jack was one of a kind a true gentleman truck driver. He and I talked many times over the last 15 years whenever our work crossed paths. I learned so much from him. My heart hurts to know he is gone I send my deepest condolence and prayers to his family. Rest easy my friend

My deepest thoughts are with you during this difficult time! I had the pleasure of knowing Jack when I started at sixteen years old as a scale house operator at Westmorland-Albert Waste Coorporation. Jack always knew how to make us laugh and never wanted to see us upset! He’d constantly bring up the jiggly rooms even though Sussex was well over a forty minute drive away! We could tell who was pulling up without even looking at who was driving the truck because his personality was radiant. When he retired, the days seemed a little longer as we missed our friend who had really become an expert at what he did. He was always the best smelling hauler around and we used to ask if his wife did the laundry or him because his coveralls always smelled amazing and we told him there was no possible way he did the laundry!
He was an excellent man who loved to smile. I will forever treasure my memories of him!

I remember back in 68 I was coming home from a nite in st. martins with another chap, ended up in the ditch, next morning Jack was making his run to st martins with milk, he stopped took the time to pull us out, and have a good laugh, first time I meet him, never forgot him thou.

I had the pleasure of working with Jack for the last 18 years and have known him for a lot longer. He was always in a good mood at work. never seemed to get worked up over anything that went wrong. He would have an easy fix to get through it. I enjoyed his stories of the years he worked with my father and the crazy things they did. R.I.P. Jack i will miss seeing you at the transfer station.
