Bonnie and family: I just learned of Jacks passing, please accept my condolences. I travelled a lot with Jack when I was in the Coast Guard, and it was always a pleasant trip and Jack's competence as a pilot made one always feel safe.

Bonnie and family, I’m so very sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. I spent lots of time at your place when I was growing up and have lots of great memories! Marc and I both worked with Jack at the CG Base in Saint John until we moved to Dartmouth, NS in 1986. Very nice man, always had a smile. We had great respect for him. My one and only helicopter ride was with Jack. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

We have lost a great man, father, grandfather, brother, & very skilled Hunter & Salmon fisherman... I have known Jack for 65 plus years...he was a lot of fun... we had a few rides in the chopper to check things out. Great memories from Martin Head hunting camp with Walter & Gary & all the crew...

I know of Jack through my grandfather Jack Russell who was a lighthouse keeper on Machias Seal Island and Big Duck Island and when I sailed out of the Saint John base in the late 1980's.

Hi, Sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I worked with Jack at the Coast Guard as part to the Dartmouth helicopter crew for many years. Jack was a fine character, a hard working professional airman and always fun to be around. Jack certainly made a positive mark with us and I have fond memories to this day of working with him. Although I was younger, I have wonderful memories riding around with Jack as he delivered oil to farms around Sussex. Lloyd and I helped when we could. Jack was kind with us and made us feel that we were doing good jobs.

I worked with Jack in Coast Guard for many years. First in Saint John and later in Yarmouth N.S.. He was a respected man who always questioned ways of doing things. I enjoyed his company. The first time I flew with Jack he showed me all the things a helicopter can do, whether I liked it or not. He will be remembered fondly.
