Susan & family, we’re so sorry for your loss. I know he’ll be so missed by all who knew and loved him. I’ve known Spurgeon all his life although we didn’t visit much over the years I had a great respect for him. My mom loved him with all her heart and he & our son Kevlin were only a few months apart in age. I was thinking about it all today and can’t help to wonder if Spurgeon & Kev have met yet since In Heaven. What a day that will be!! Spurgeon was such a great man. Always caring, loving, and encouraging. I remember when I first started attending Calvary, Spurgeon said he felt like he’d known me his whole life and like family just moving home. The feel was mutual. Really going to miss him. I know I’ll see him again soon. Just gone a bit on ahead.
