Dot and her sister, Joan rented a flat from dad, when we lived on St George St.,many years ago. I remember them coming and going to work. Once I returned to Sussex, we exchanged Christmas cards each year. Dot was a lovely person. My condolences to the family

Aunt Dot was a wonderful, caring lady and a cherished member of our family. Although I didn’t get to see her as often as I would have liked, I always looked forward to visiting her with Nannie during the summer, and to seeing her at our family get togethers. Although I can’t be there, my thoughts are with you all. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The woman who I looked up to all my life. A wonderful caring woman. I remember staying on the farm with her and Uncle Eldon and being treated like I was one of their own. After I moved to Ontario I always looked forward to visiting Aunt Dot when I came home. She always welcomed you with a smile and hug. Many times Aunt Dot would come to my rescue with a hug and a caring word or jester. If you ever needed an encouraging word all you had to do was call her and she always had time for you. She will be missed beyond words and Sussex will not be the same without her.
