I would like to pass on my deepest sympathies to Faye and family. I worked with Larry for many years at Shur-Gain. It was a privilege to work with someone who would provide his time, input and agreement, but above all, get things done. I remember, when managing the Sussex facility and I needed to have everyone gathered to make the announcement about the building of the new Moncton Mill, replacing the Sussex mill, Larry was very concerned. He came to me one day and said, "I'm nervous regarding this New state of the art feed mill facility being built in Moncton". He continued to say, "I'm not sure I could work with the newer equipment". I said to Larry, this new facility needs people like you, experienced and with a lot of drive and perseverance. All of which, I knew, Larry had. I indicated that he should apply for the positions that were coming out and I would assist in his preparation for the interview. The Moncton Mill was new for everyone and I knew he would get along just fine.
For sure, we know he did and he appreciated the push to make the move. Larry was so dedicated to Shur-Gain while at work and even more loving to his family at home. I have many fond memories of Larry, but his willingness to assist in any way that he could was an attribute that are only held by few, Larry was one of those individuals. His smile and laughter, always looking at the brighter side of life, kept pushing, always on time, was something I admired about Larry. He will be missed by all of us who had the great privilege of knowing Larry Voutour. May his memories and life live on through his children and grandchildren. My prayers are with you, Faye, and your family at this time.

I am so sorry to hear of Larry's passing, my condolences to Faye and the family. I had the pleasure of working with Larry at the Moncton mill and you could not ask for a more dedicated individual. Larry always had a positive attitude and was well liked by his coworkers.I used to bring my grand daughter to work with me and she would always look for Larry and his lunchbox of treats. When Larry talked about his family you could see the joy and happiness in his face. He will be missed by all.
